Soil & Ground Water Investigations
Saga Consulting has completed numerous Soil & Groundwater investigations at industrial facilities and, in most cases, designed and executed a remedial system.
We have assisted oil companies in Eastern European countries with the assessment of environmental impacts of oil spills associated to well blow out or pipeline ruptures.
In the North of Italy Saga Consulting has fully characterised a 50 hectares industrial site affected by diverse and extensive contamination of the subsurface. The site was located next to a wetland of international scientific interest and the assessment included the characterisation of the wetland ecosystem with regard to potential impacts from the industrial contamination.
Recent Projects include the design and execution of a Site Investigation to the satisfaction of the Italian Ministry of Environment at an industrial facility located within a Site of National Interest. The classification is due to the extensive nature of the contamination throughout a petroleum district of a large city.
